<b>Youichi Shibuya</b> (渋谷洋一, <i>Shibuya Youichi</i>) is a pro gamer, writer/editor who was active circa late 80s - early 90s.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/shibuya1.jpg" width="300" height="338" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
His life is founded on cyberpunk-spirit. He lives only on impulses.<br />
He prefers Shooter, Racing and Action game, specially arcade platform. He's a serious collector of 70s-80s arcade game circuit boards and completed almost all of them.<br />
Besically he never play beated game again because it's a waste of time.<br />
<br />
He also loves punk, new wave, post punk music, dubious stuff among all, such as Sigue Sigue Sputnik.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/shibuya3.jpg" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
In 1988, he developed guitar-shaped video game controller for his own use and did some live performances followed by electro band.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/shibuya6.jpg" width="300" height="230" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
On stage, he played side-scrolling shooters like R-TYPE, Gradius II by that controller, synchyonized with music by the band.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/shibuya4.jpg" width="300" height="242" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<br />
I heard his performance was superb.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/shibuya2c.jpg" width="150" height="151" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
Before 2001, he vanished from our site. No one knows where he is now.<br />

<b>"これがファミリーコンピュータだ!!"</b> ["Kore Ga Family Computer Da!!", means "This is the Family Computer"] is a kind of educational manga by Sou Nozaki for the Famicom beginner kids. It was originally enclosed in Family Computer consoles manufactured around 1985.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/kon2.jpg" width="300" height="416" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<img src="images/kon3.jpg" width="300" height="398" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<img src="images/kon4.jpg" width="300" height="407" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
The hero, called Konkichi, looks like Son-Goku, is a sort of Famicom Spirit and has outstanding skill in Mario Bros.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/kon6.jpg" width="300" height="405" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<img src="images/kon5.jpg" width="300" height="132" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<img src="images/kon8.jpg" width="300" height="270" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
He's very weak in water since he's a Famicom Spirit. He teaches kids about basic of Famicom by his personal example.<br />
<br />
<img src="images/kon7.jpg" width="300" height="425" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<img src="images/kon9.jpg" width="300" height="416" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<br />
The comic is lil bit dull overall but somehow I've been attached to Konkichi since I was a little kid.<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/Konkichi.jpg" width="300" height="298" alt="" class="pict" /><br />

the medium i use is called Sculpey III. it's colored plasticine and doesn't need to be kept moist.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/04.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />

<br />
<img src="images/20.jpg" width="200" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
anyway bake it in the oven about 10 min. with the others. i usually make over 10 figurines at the same time.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/11.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
it became solid. you may not notice though.<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/12.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
then, add a body. and bake again.<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/13.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />

<br />
<img src="images/15.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />
<br />
<img src="images/16.jpg" width="100" height="100" alt="" class="pict" /><br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="images/17.jpg" width="200" height="200" alt="" class="pict" /><br />

<blockquote>Menko from Wikipedia:<br />
Menko (めんこ, 面子) is a Japanese card game played by two or more players. It is also the name of the type of cards used to play this game. Each player uses Menko cards made from thick paper or cardboard, with one or both side printed with images from anime, manga, etc. A player's card is placed on the hardwood or concrete floor and the other player throws down his card, trying to flip the other player's card with a gust of wind or by striking his card against the other card. If he succeeds, he takes both cards. The player who takes all the cards, or the one with the most cards at the game's end, wins the game.</blockquote> imagine japanese Pogs or milkcap. <br />
